New Technical Service Department
Kris Baringer, our Manager of Technical Services, would like to remind you that all regulators, Alternate Air Source and octopus, require annual service to keep warranties valid.
Kris will always place a sticker on your equipment indicating the next service date. If your regulator has not seen much use it may only require inspection, lubrication and adjustment.
Kris maintains that after salt-water use, the regulator will still harbor salt deposits even after rinsing. He suggests a professional cleaning, where he will open the regulator and remove any residual salt that remains. Salt water cleaning may reduce the cost of annual service by reducing labor charges resulting from the need to use an acid bath for cleaning.
It is our goal to help you keep your life support system functioning properly to make your diving experience safe and enjoyable.
Kris is certified to service equipment by AquaLung, Seaquest, Atomic, Dive Rite, Scubapro, Sherwood, Oceanic, and Mares.
